Channels Forrecruitment Of Computer Specialists In Small And Medium Software Companies

Abstract

The recruitment is one of the important functions of human resource management. It aims to provide the needed people for the organization in quantity and quality aspect. The aim of this article is to present and analyze the main sources for the recruitment of computer specialists, their applicability and effectiveness. The research is based on an example from some small and medium enterprises in the information technology sector in Bulgaria. An online survey and in-depth interviews are carried out. The survey found that the most used and effective recruitment channels for small and medium enterprises are personal contacts, job posting sites, the database of previous competitions and employee referrals.
