Abstract

En este artículo se ofrece una visión sucinta sobre las principales características de la producción mundial de alimentos: evolución, variabilidad, escasa comercialización en términos relativos y su concentración en países de elevado desarrollo. Asimismo se pasa revista a las principales estrategias de desarrollo agrícola, sus limitaciones y las tendencias mundiales de desenvolvimiento del escenario agrícola mundial en la década de los 90.
