Kecekapan Teknikal Pertanian Padi dan Faktor Penentu: Model Pengeluaran Sempadan Stokastik

Abstract

Kajian ini menganalisis tahap kecekapan teknikal pertanian padi. Kajian ini menggunakan persampelan rawak berstrata 285 orang petani padi Malaysia di bawah pengurusan Lembaga Kemajuan Pertanian Muda.. Data telah dianalisis dengan menggunakan kaedah Kuasa Dua Terkecil dan Analisis Sempadan Stokastik dalam fungsi pengeluaran Cobb-Douglas. Kami menganggarkan kecekapan teknikal pertanian padi dan faktor penentu. Keputusan kajian menunjukkan bahawa model Cobb-Douglas taburan half-normal adalah lebih baik daripada truncated normal dengan purata kecekapan teknikal adalah 0.855 lebih tinggi daripada 0.624. Walaupun pendapatan padi, pendapatan isi rumah dan kos operasi membantu meningkatkan kecekapan, keluasan tanaman, bilangan buruh dan sewa tanah adalah dikaitkan dengan penurunan kecekapan. Hubungan input-output telah menunjukkan keluasan tanaman, bilangan buruh, benih dan jentera yang digunakan meningkatkan output. Kajian ini mencadangkan polisi dengan memastikan kos input yang produktif iaitu kos jentera dan sewa tanah adalah mampu dimiliki oleh petani. Tambahan lagi, polisi ini juga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan padi melalui harga yang lebih baik untuk output mereka dan mengurangkan ketidakcekapan teknikal dalam pengeluaran padi.
