Cinsiyet ve İl Kırılımlı İnsani Gelişme Endeksi: Türkiye Örneği

Abstract

Ekonomi biliminde bölgesel gelişme tartışmalarının odak noktalarından birisi, sosyo-ekonomik gelişmişlik düzeyinin bir ülkede veya bölgede nasıl tanımlandığı ve nasıl ölçüldüğüdür. Bu arayışlara bağlı olarak bütün dünyadaakış açıları ve yöntemlere dayalı hesaplamalar ve analizler yapılmıştır. Türkiye’de de benzer çalışmalar ve hesaplamalar yapılmıştır. Bu konuda yaygın şekilde kullanılagelen faktör analizinden sonra, Birleşmiş Milletler’in bazı öncü araştırmacıların çalışmalarına dayanarak geliştirdiği İnsani Gelişme ( İGE) son dönemlerin önemli yaklaşımlarından birisi olmuştur. Karşılaştırılabilir, anlaşılabilir ve kolay hesaplanabilir olması nedeniyle bu çalışmadaıştır. Bu mak alede, Türkiye için ilk defa illere göre cinsiyet kırılımlı İGE hesaplanmış ve sonuçları tartışılmıştır. Cinsiyet kırılımlı IGE için gerekli olan cinsiyet kırılımlı kişi başına GSYH, yazarlar tarafından önerilen bir yöntemle hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen İGE sonuçlarına dayanarakümelenmeler belirlenmiştir.
