The specifics of the professional training of students with disabilities in special education

Abstract

he aim of this paper was to prepare students with disabilities in special education for work, as the title of the paper suggests: "Preparation for work of students with disabilities in special education". Therefore, the purpose of this paper was to identify suitable occupations for young people with disabilities after high school. The paper is divided into theoretical chapters and applied research chapters. The theoretical chapters present scientific information about the personality and cognition of people with intellectual disabilities. In the other chapters are exposed the research methodology but also the presentation, analysis and interpretation of the results from the application of the tests. The tests applied are: E. P. I. Inventory (Eysenck Personality Inventory) and Inventory of professional interests (according to Holland's typology). These were applied individually to a sample of 10 students.
