Carmen Tudor (2013 ) observes that it is strongly hierarchical military organization, that has a high number of hierarchical levels and the rules and regulations prescribing the exact duties of each hierarchical levels, and the relations of subordination, authority, cooperation and control. Also a major point of this paper is to determine whether there are differences in men and women personalities who have leadership positions, particularly issues related to self-esteem or empathy. Conclusions of this paper also showed that although women adopt an authoritarian leadership style retains some female characteristics, such as empathy, cooperation. Also because military environment is one which requires very strict rules so that leadership positions should have a high self-esteem, especially if we speak of women managers.
