Managing the interaction with the parents in the kindergarten-family partnership

Abstract

The present study aims to highlight the representations that both teachers and parents have regarding the family - kindergarten interaction, and also, the emphasize the defining aspects of the kindergarten - family partnership. The motivation behind the choice of the announced theme is sustained by, the conditions and social relations, which emphasize the idea of supporting parents that can contribute to the education and social integration of their child. The educational partnership, being focused of the satisfaction of parents needs, if we refer to family education, and on the satisfaction of the kindergartens needs focused on the optimization, of the resources and forms supporting the family in the formal, nonformal and informal education process, represents the pedagogical and social element that actively takes part in the formation of the child personality. The kindergarten - family partnership is on of the topics with increasing interes and subject that presenta interes not only to those implicated, also to the large majority. The family and the kindergarten are the two essential factors of child`s education. The family constitute the first factor and the natural environment which exercise in the personality formation in a multidirectional perspective and the kindergarten and the school are the most important factors of sistematic and continuous education. Nowadays the purposes and processes of education are so complex, that the child`s development can only be assured by common sustained efforts of both family and kindergarten.
