Abstract

The paper deals with the most significant causes and risks of reduction in the investment activity. The subject of the study is management decisions aiming to find the optimal balance of risks for the country and an individual when solving the problem of seeking investments. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the consequences of different options of seeking financial resources to maintain the appropriate level of investment. The multifactorial nature of investment processes and associated risks is shown. It is established that there are multiple risks and restrictions in the investment activity and insufficient financial resources are only a part of them. It is concluded that citizens need to be directly involved in the innovation and investment process. A mechanism of conflict-free interaction and mutually beneficial cooperation between the state and citizens in the investment sphere is proposed.
