Abstract

Der Megatrend in Richtung „integrale Gesundheit" hat Fahrt aufgenommen. Neue Dimensionen von Gesundheit sind in den Blickwinkel getreten. Gesundheits-Coaching ist ein neu entstehender Praxis­ und Forschungsbereich, der zur Zeit seine Aufgaben, Inhalte und Grenzen absteckt. Gesundheits-Coaching im Sinne von IPL zielt auf eine Verbesserung des Wohlbefindens von Menschen in allen Dimensionen. Es ermöglicht, dass Menschen sich mit ihren Fähigkeiten und Potentialen sinnvoll entfalten und authentisch in der Welt ausdrücken können. IPL hat sich besonders darauf spezialisiert, Menschen mit Herausforderungen in der existen­ tiellen Dimension zu unterstützen. Der Mensch ist existentiell gesund, wenn er sein Leben vorwiegend als sinnvoll und wertvoll em findet.
