La responsabilidad ética del hombre contemporáneo

Abstract

El desarrollo económico, la evolución de la ciencia y la tecnología, la explosión demográfica, la “cultura” informatizada, las libertades democráticas y la corrupción, han provocado una crisis moral sin precedentes, una revolución del concepto que tiene el hombre de sí mismo, de lo masculino y lo femenino, al punto de ver tambalearse su identidad, sus valores y perderse el sentido de orientación de hacia dónde van la cultura y la civilización. Esta crisis nos apostrofa con interrogantes que tienen anverso y reverso: ¿cómo afrontar el presente incierto? ¿De qué cualidades, de qué carácter hay que estar construido para plantarse y tomar buenas decisiones en el mundo inseguro, competitivo y difícil que nos toca vivir? Ya no se trata de pensar proyectos ecológicos o modelos económicos sustentables, menos sistemas ideológicos; sino de descubrir personalidades capaces de lucidez y altura necesarias para asumir con responsabilidad el liderazgo de la humanidad.
