Abstract

[eng] The links relating intensification and efficiency are analysed using a model that shows how optimisation at the farm level and minimal unitary cost of production are not achieved necessarily by the same intensity of land use level. This methodological framework gives new instruments to study the effects of price policies on agricultural efficiency and to make international comparisons.
