Zuviel Vertrauen? – Über Moral und Finanzen (Beyond Trust – On the Relationship of Morality and Finance)

Abstract

Die Bankenkrise wird vornehmlich als Vertrauensverlust interpretiert. Es werden neue moral standards vorgeschlagen und/oder verbesserte Kontrollen. Dabei bleibt überse-hen, dass ein Gutteil der Gründe, komplexe und intransparente Zertifikate zu verkaufen wie zu kaufen, selber auf einem Vertrauen in die Transaktionen beruhte. Inwieweit Vertrauen keine Lösung des Problems ist, sondern dessen Bestandteil, soll im Folgen-den analysiert werden.
