Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of benchmarking on the promotion of innovation within enterprises located in the city of Sidi Bel Abbess, Algeria. The target population comprises executives, managers, and assistant managers from 35 enterprises operating in the region. A total of 102 respondents participated in the study, providing a comprehensive view of the current practices and outcomes related to benchmarking and innovation. By employing a structured survey methodology, the findings indicate that benchmarking at its dimensions (Learning, Adoption) significantly enhances innovation by learning from others and facilitating the adoption of best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and encouraging creative problem solving. The study provides valuable insights for practitioners and managers aiming to leverage benchmarking as a strategic tool to drive innovation and improve competitiveness in various industries.
