La dynamique de la ségrégation urbaine à travers l’évolution des profils de quartiers : étude sur l’agglomération bordelaise

Abstract

Cet article se propose d’étudier la dynamique de la ségrégation urbaine et son inscription au sein du territoire urbain bordelais. Cette analyse confère un rôle prépondérant aux effets de quartiers et à leur relation avec les processus de métropolisation dans la formation d’une dynamique cumulative de la ségrégation. L’étude de l’inscription spatiale des effets de quartiers est ensuite menée en utilisant une analyse en composantes principales couplée à un algorithme de classification ascendante hiérarchique afin de construire une typologie des profils de quartiers. Les trajectoires de quartiers entre 1990 et 1999 montrent que les effets de quartiers s’inscrivent dans les recompositions territoriales issues des liens entre métropolisation et ségrégation.
