The study reveals a number of internal contradictions in the official state strategies relating to economic aspects of national security. The result of the study is to develop a holistic view of the prevailing conceptual approaches to national economic security. This is important in the further development of optimal models of its ensuring in different socio- economic and political conditions. The results can be used for further scientific analysis of the theoretical foundation of ensuring economic security.
