Abstract

This paper is a review of the volume “Bioethics in crisis or the crisis of bioethics? A philosophy of the pandemic in the medicalized society”, authored by Antonio Sandu (LUMEN Publishing House, 2020) and aims to highlight those innovative aspects in the field of bioethics. Bioethics in crisis or the crisis of bioethics? A philosophy of the pandemic in the medicalized society” is the only volume published in Romania that debates the issue of the SARS-VOC-2 virus pandemic exclusively in the field of bioethics.
