Modelo colegial y rendimiento académico en la universidad pública española

Abstract

Este artículo describe la extensión del modelo colegial en la universidad pública española y reúne evidencia de la influencia que este modelo de organización del trabajo académico ejerce sobre la intensidad y el rendimiento de dicho trabajo. Para ello se emplean datos procedentes de cuestionarios completados por 461 profesores universitarios de todas las universidades públicas españolas. El trabajo concluye que los rasgos del modelo colegial tienen una desigual presencia en la universidad española. En cuanto a la influencia de la organización colegial en el rendimiento académico, se concluye que los resultados son dependientes de las medidas de rendimiento que se empleen, así como de los rasgos del modelo colegial cuya influencia se valora.
