Abstract

A minimálbér-szabályozás alapvető dilemmája, hogy amennyiben eredményes a kereseteloszlás alján lévők túlzott kereseti hátránya elleni küzdelemben, mellékhatásként foglalkoztatási kilátásaik romlását idézheti elő. Ez az írás a legalacsonyabb iskolázottságúak viszonylagos foglalkoztatási rátájára és kereseti pozíciójára vonatkozó 2006. évi EU-27 adatainak kereslet-kínálati megközelítésű értékelésével járul hozzá a minimálbér-politikai vitához. Fő következtetése, hogy a minimál-bérszabályozás jelzett dilemmája különös jelentőségű lehet a magyarországi minimálbér-politika s általában az egykori szocialista országok minimálbér-politikája számára.
