Optimum Locations of Centers in Networks

Abstract

This paper presents a generalization of results of Hakimi and Goldman on optimum locations of centers (warehouses) in a network. This generalization is achieved by a conceptual simplification of the previous results leading to a proof of a stronger version of Goldman's conjecture.
