Hisse senetleri İMKB’de işlem gören KOBİ’lerin sermaye yapısının incelenmesi: 1997–2004 dönemi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, sermaye yapısı politikası oluşturmak için KOBİ’lerde sermaye yapısını etkileyen en önemli faktörleri belirlemektir. Araştırmada hisse senetleri İstanbul Menkul Kıymetler Borsasında (İMKB’de) işlem gören ve imalât sektöründe yer alan KOBİ niteliğindeki firmaların sermaye yapıları ile sermaye yapılarını etkileyen faktörlerden firma büyüklüğü, karlılık, büyüme, işletme riski, borç dışı vergi kalkanı ve vergi etkisi arasındaki ilişki uygun olan regresyon yöntemiyle araştırılmaktadır. Araştırmada, bağımsız değişkenler arasındaki anlamlı çoklu doğrusal bağlantı problemine dayanarak adımsal (stepwise) regresyon yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmayla elde edilen ampirik bulgulara göre KOBİ’lerin sermaye yapısını etkileyen en önemli faktörlerin sırasıyla karlılık, işletme riski ve borç dışı vergi kalkanı göstergeleri olduğu görülmüştür.
