Teaching Quality Evaluation for Air Volleyball in Sports Colleges: A Multiple-Attribute Group Decision-Making Problem

Abstract

The evaluation of teaching quality for college air volleyball focuses on assessing programs that foster technical proficiency, tactical understanding, and sportsmanship in physical education environments. It evaluates the relevance of the curriculum, teaching methods such as skill drills and match simulations, and student engagement through collaborative and practical activities. The quality evaluation of air volleyball teaching in sports colleges is a multiple-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problem. Currently, the TODIM and EDAS methods have been proposed for MAGDM. Intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) are used to represent uncertain and ambiguous information during the quality evaluation process. In this study, an intuitionistic fuzzy number integrated TODIM-EDAS (IFN-TODIM-EDAS) approach is proposed for MAGDM within an IFS framework. Finally, a numerical analysis of air volleyball teaching quality evaluation in sports colleges demonstrates the applicability and effectiveness of the IFN-TODIM-EDAS approach.
