Factors Affecting the Educational Innovator of Teacher Students in Phetchaburi Rajabhat University

This research aimed to 1) the level of factors affecting student teachers as educational innovators 2) the level of educational innovator characteristics of student teachers and 3) the factors affecting the Educational Innovator of Teacher Students in Phetchaburi Rajabhat University. The sample consisted of 210 fourth-year student teachers at Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, selected via multi-stage sampling based on Krejcie and Morgan’s table. The research instrument was a 5-point rating scale questionnaire with a reliability of 0.954. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that- 1) The factors influencing educational innovator characteristics were overall at the highest level (x = 4.53, S.D. = 0.70). The highest-ranked internal factors were individual motivation, technology, thinking/problem-solving skills, and Learning and Self-development. The highest-ranked external factors were policy, collaboration networks, and leadership support. 2) The level of student teachers as educational innovators was overall at a high level (x = 4.48, S.D. = 0.72), comprising research competency for learning development, research competency for learning, and research application. Leadership support (x5), collaboration networks (x7), technology (x4), and individual motivation (x1) were significant predictors, with a predictive efficiency of 93.00%.
