Abstract

This study focuses on the current state of effective communication skills among social work university students in China and proposes a strategic management model to enhance their communication abilities. Using a mixed-methods design that combines quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, the research assesses the current level of communication skills, identifies influencing factors, and validates the effectiveness of the management model. The results indicate that management factors, including planning, organizing, leading, controlling, and managing the environment, significantly impact students' effective communication skills. Implementing the strategic management model can substantially improve students' communication abilities, thereby enhancing their professional competence and employability. This study fills the gap in systematic research on the cultivation of effective communication skills in social work education and provides new theoretical support for educational management.
