Sobre El Concepto De Empresa. Bases Para La Comprensión De Formatos Económicos Solidarios

Abstract

La teoría de empresa más hegemónica está aún en deuda para dar cuenta de aquellos formatos empresariales atípicos a la norma capitalista, es decir, empresas que no persiguen la maximización de sus utilidades y no se organizan con una estructura de mando piramidal. Las empresas de la economía social y solidaria tampoco han sido bien interpretadas por cierta doctrina cooperativista que pone énfasis en su definición como “organizaciones que no persiguen fines de lucro”. En el presente artículo nos proponemos analizar desde un paradigma de economía plural las características que definen a la empresa solidaria. Analizaremos además el fenómeno de las empresas sociales como caso híbrido donde características del modelo tradicional se confunden con las de una empresa solidaria.
