El diseño de un nuevo modelo de ayudas públicas para los estudiantes de educación superior en España: la implantación de un programa de préstamos

Abstract

The objective of this study is, on one hand, to contribute to the knowledge of the implications of the use of loans in the current model of public grants to undergraduates in Spain, and on the other hand, to appraise the distribution of loans according to the following criteria: evaluation of necessary initial costs for the implantation of such a program, the level of financial cost and possible non-repayment of such loans, administration and management costs, their effect on the demand for higher education and the effects on participation of students classified according to social class and gender.
