Mecanismos tipo mercado en la gestión de la escuela pública

Abstract

The first part of this article reviews the evolution and the scene of internal and external conditioning factors of the education system in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country. The second part reviews possible new elements which it is advisable to introduce in the management of pre-university level public educational centres. The possible repercussions on efficency and equity in the education system are likewise analyzed.
