Abstract

The French Prime Minister, Edouard Baliadur, created a reflection group, chaired by Jean Mattéoli in May 1993, whose task it was to analyze hindrances to empioyment in France and to propose reforms. Persuaded that the reforms «are not up to the chalienge», Michel Godet reveals his point of view on the subiect and concludes his article by formulating a series of more radical proposals which are included in his 28 «complementary and alternative» propositions.
