Abstract

This articie summarises some of the more important resolutions adopted by the Competition Defence Tribunal over recent years. There are several reasons for its actions. Firstly, a reading of the rulings of the Competition Defence Tribunal reveals that Spanish authorities are anxious to establish a system to ensure free competition between companies, forbidding all agreements or practices which might affect it. Secondly, the antitrust or Competition Defence Law of July l7th 1989 establishes new legal regulations by which companies, which are the object of the Law, must adapt their ways of conduct. Finally, the author provides information on the most important sentences which, in his opinion, have been made in recent years.
