Entrepreneurial risk attitude, credit accessibility, and entrepreneurial income

Abstract

This study utilizes data from seven rounds of the China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) conducted from 2010 to 2022 to systematically analyze the synergistic effects of entrepreneurial risk attitudes, credit availability, and entrepreneurial income. The results indicate that entrepreneurial risk attitudes have a significant negative impact on entrepreneurial income, while credit availability has a significant positive effect. Further analysis reveals that credit availability mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial risk attitudes and entrepreneurial income, with notable heterogeneity observed between rural and urban areas. Additionally, internet usage moderates the relationship between entrepreneurial risk attitudes and entrepreneurial income.
