Abstract

In order to avoid large-scale cascading failures, we propose a cascading failure model with adjustable parameters in multi-layer directed dependent networks with target nodes. The model sets the initial load and limit capacity, designs load delay judgment mechanism, constructs a load distribution strategy, and analyzes the cascading failure conditions. Finally, the simulation comparison between our method and other four redistribution methods shows that our method can improve the robustness and efficiency of the network. Based on our redistribution method, the same number of nodes are attacked by four attack methods, showing that the cost of attacking the driver node set is small, but can cause cascading failure on a large scale.
