Abstract

El artículo se constituyó en un aporte a la discusión que se generó en el proceso de Reforma Universitaria que en la Universidad de Narino se viene desarrollando desde el ano 2008 con el propósito de modificar sus Estatutos, en ejercicio de los principios de autonomía y democracia universitarios contemplados en la Constitución Política de 1991 y la Ley 30 de 1992. Ese proceso sigue vigente y cuenta con la dirección de la Asamblea Universitaria, organismo creado y conformado por sus estamentos (Docentes, Estudiantes, Empleados, Trabajadores, Jubilados); proceso de Reforma que dio como resultado la formulación del Plan de Desarrollo 2008-2020 “Pensar la Universidad y la Región”, del Proyecto Educativo Institucional –PEI- y del nuevo Estatuto General, aprobados por los Consejos Académico y Superior, respectivamente.
