La integración regional en américa latina y su impacto en el sector agrícola

Abstract

El presente artículo consiste en una revisión bibliográfica alrededor de la integración regional, destacando su incidencia en los países latinoamericanos e identificando las etapas más relevantes, tanto de la profundización comercial como de la ampliación de mercados; además, se recopilan aspectos concluyentes de las diversas aperturas comerciales latinoamericanas, con especial énfasis en el sector agrícola. Del análisis de los artículos e informes consultados, se determina que el dinamismo de América Latina en los mercados internacionales frente a una apertura comercial le otorga grandes oportunidades pero, a la vez, sus riegos son muy elevados; sin embargo, dichos riesgos se pueden minimizar a partir de una reestructuración interna, así como con el establecimiento de políticas y apoyo institucional tanto público como privado, de modo que pueda incrementarse la competitividad en los mercados internacionales.
