Sobre el sentido del trabajo en la flexibilidad laboral en Medellín, Colombia

Abstract

Para la elaboración de este artículo se realizó una investigación cualitativa, mediante entrevistas a trabajadores, profesionales de las ciencias sociales y responsables de gestión humana. Se efectuó análisis de contenido y triangulación de la información. Como resultados se encontró que los trabajadores operativos perciben una mejora al pasar del sector informal al temporal formal; los profesionales senalan una pérdida en la certidumbre y nivel de vida esperado; senalan que el Estado se centra en la formalización del empleo enfocada en la sostenibilidad del sistema de protección social y generación del empleo, descuidando su calidad, con ineficiente regulación de la legislación laboral; las empresas utilizan la flexibilidad para ser competitivas, disminuir problemas de manejo de personal, sumado al desinterés por retener al personal y por los efectos adversos como la discriminación y cosificación de los trabajadores.
