Bases para la formulación de políticas de apoyo a las Pymes Paraguayas

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar una caracterización de las pequenas y medianas empresas (PYME) en Paraguay, al tiempo que establece una comparación con otros países de Europa, así como América Latina. Mostramos las políticas implementadas en la promoción del desarrollo en la década de 1970, y se proponen directrices para un programa de apoyo a las PYME. Este artículo se basa en la experiencia adquirida por el autor en tres proyectos: 1) Apoyo a las de la Comunidad Europea PYMEs (1994-1996), 2) el Proyecto de Concertación de las PYMEs Competitividad (1999) y 3) El proyecto PR100 del (2012).
