El mercado del aguacate en Colombia

Abstract

Se realizó una revisión de las exportaciones y los precios del aguacate en Colombia, con relación a los acuerdos de libre comercio pactados con diferentes países y comunidades en el tiempo. Para el análisis estadístico de los precios mensuales por kilo de aguacate en las diferentes plazas de mercado de Colombia, se utilizaron modelos espaciotemporales, como el modelo lineal mixto, en un lapso de nueve años (desde enero de 2013 hasta agosto de 2022). Se observó un aumento en los precios de aguacate de la variedad Hass, mientras que en las variedades Papelillo y común hubo una reducción en los precios de comercialización. De igual forma, se identificó que en Bogotá se presentan los precios más altos de esta fruta en comparación con otras ciudades.
