Abstract

El artículo presenta algunas situaciones socioculturales relacionadas con laeconomía y el medio ambiente en las veredas de Guantoque, Páramo Centroy Gacal del municipio de Samacá. Se resaltan por un lado, la distribución yformas de explotación de la tierra y prácticas agronómicas y por otro, eldano ambiental y de la salud humana, debido al uso indiscriminado de losagroquímicos, lo que conduce al acelerado deterioro de la economíafamiliar y sus correspondientes efectos en la calidad de vida de la población.____________ABSTRACT:The article presents some socio-cultural aspects dealing with the economyand environment of the Guantoque, Páramo Centro y Gacal rural zones inSamacá. The allocation, soil exploitation techniques and agriculturalpractices are highlighted, as well as the environmental and health damagecaused by the indiscriminate use of chemicals. All these factors havediminished the income of the households and indeed inhabitants´ lifequality.
