Abstract

In the current Economists Panel, almost half of the participating economists express dissatisfaction with Germany’s current coronavirus economic policy. Only a good fifth are satisfied. A binding step-by-step plan for relaxation, the expansion of the testing strategy, and premium payments for additional vaccine supplies are viewed positively by the majority. A communitization of patents, on the other hand, is rejected by a majority.
