Coronavirus Aid Measures Reduce Tax Revenue: On the Results of the Tax Estimate of September 2020

Abstract

As a response to the coronavirus crisis, the state has decided on extensive tax cuts that will reduce tax revenues. However, the overall economic situation is now viewed more positively than in the spring, which is dampening the downward revisions in the forecast period.
