Branchen im Blickpunkt: Der Biermarkt in Deutschland – weitgehend stabil auf dem Niveau von 2010

In den vergangenen zehn Jahren ging der Bierverbrauch in Deutschland um fast 13% auf 87,7 Mill. hl im Jahr 2011 zurück. Weltweit betrachtet steigen hingegen Bierproduktion und Bierverbrauch weiter an. Die Meldungen der teilnehmenden Brauereien am ifo Konjunkturtest zeigen aber nunmehr am aktuellen Rand im Vergleich zu der eher eingetrübten Stimmung im ersten Halbjahr 2012 erste Anzeichen für eine positive Trendwende. Die Geschäftserwartungen für die kommenden sechs Monate hellten sich im Juli und August leicht auf.
