The changed role of agriculture at the beginning of the 21st century

Author

Abstract

In the past, agricultural policy measures were aimed at the quantities and quality of production. The other services provided by the agriculture sector, for example environmental services, were accepted as a matter of course. In the meantime the multifunctionality of agriculture has been placed in the foreground of the discussion of the changed role of the agricultural sector.
