ifo Agrar Branchenbericht Schweinehaltung

Abstract

Mit dem Pilotprojekt »Schweinehaltung« hat das ifo Institut einen Einstieg in eine regelmäßige Erfassung und Dokumentation der Lage und der geplanten bzw. sich abzeichnenden Veränderungen in der landwirtschaftlichen Tierhaltung genommen. Neben den konjunkturellen Aspekten werden vor allem die unternehmerischen Entwicklungsstrategien und die beabsichtigten Investitionen erfasst. Dabei liegt ein besonderer Schwerpunkt auf den aktuellen betriebsorganisatorischen und produktionstechnologischen Umstellungsprozessen, die sich derzeit aus Umwelt- und Tierschutzgründen sowie aus Gründen der Qualitätssicherung und der Transparenzbildung in den landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben vollziehen.
