Ausländische Beschäftigte tragen immer mehr zum Beschäftigungsaufbau in den ostdeutschen Flächenländern bei

Abstract

Seit 2010 tragen Ausländer zunehmend zum Beschäftigungsaufschwung in den ostdeutschen Flächenländern bei. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird die Entwicklung nach Herkunftsländern vor dem Hintergrund der institutionellen und ökonomischen Rahmenbedingungen der letzten Jahre betrachtet. Demnach hat sich die Beschäftigungsdynamik der Ausländer mit der 2011 bzw. 2014 erlangten Arbeitnehmerfreizügigkeit für die osteuropäischen EU-Mitgliedsstaaten beschleunigt. Sie wurde zudem begünstigt von der aktuell guten Arbeitsmarktsituation in Deutschland.
