ifo Konjunkturprognose Ostdeutschland und Sachsen 2017/2018: Ostdeutsche Wirtschaft bleibtauf kräftigem Wachstumskurs

Abstract

Die Wirtschaft in Ostdeutschland und Sachsen dürfte in den Jahren 2017 und 2018 kräftig expandieren. Das preisbereinigte Bruttoinlandsprodukt wird in Ostdeutschland im laufenden und im kommenden Jahr voraussichtlich um jeweils 1,8 % zulegen. In Sachsen dürfte sich die Wirtschaft mit Zuwachsraten von 1,9 % bzw. 2,0 % etwas dynamischer entwickeln. Positive Impulse kommen von den binnenwirtschaftlichen Kräften sowie zunehmend vom Auslandsgeschäft. Die Zahl der Erwerbstätigen dürfte im Prognosezeitraum ebenfalls weiter zunehmen. In Ostdeutschland dürfte die Erwerbstätigkeit im laufenden Jahr um 0,9 % und im kommenden Jahr um 0,7 % zulegen, in Sachsen um 0,7 % bzw. 0,5 %.
