Abstract

This paper aims to establish the factors that make airports an attractive investment and explain the Macquarie Group's rationale for investing in infrastructure. It details Macquarie's history and track record of investment in airports and subsequent performance, and provides an overview of Macquarie's investment criteria for airports. It also assesses new investment opportunities that are likely to arise in the medium term in Europe and the rest of the world.
