Abstract

This study evaluates the transition toward comprehensive rural development policies in Mexico through the analysis of bean production in Zacatecas between 1990 and 2023. Using a multidimensional fuzzy inference approach based on fsQCA the research integrates production government programs multidimensional welfare and development effects. Results show convergence toward policy integrality driven by political economic and climatic factors highlighting the relevance of regional context for effective rural development and food security policy design.
