Abstract

"Im zweiten Halbjahr 2018 hat sich die konjunkturelle Entwicklung im Vergleich zu den starken Vorjahren vor allem durch außenwirtschaftliche Einflüsse deutlich abgeschwächt. Im Verlauf dieses Jahres dürfte sie aber verhalten aufwärtsgerichtet sein. Der Arbeitsmarkt zeigt sich gegenüber dieser konjunkturellen Schwächephase robust. Insbesondere die Beschäftigung steigt weiter, da sich die Unternehmen zunehmend knappe Arbeitskräfte sichern. Dabei stabilisiert die gute Lage am Arbeitsmarkt auch die binnenwirtschaftliche Nachfrage. Die aktuelle Frühjahrsprognose des IAB blickt auf die zu erwartenden Entwicklungen im Jahr 2019."
