Akzeptanz und Karrierechancen von Bachelor- und Masterabsolventen deutscher Hochschulen

Abstract

Die große Mehrheit der Unternehmen akzeptiert laut einer Umfrage des Instituts der deutschen Wirtschaft Köln Bachelor- in gleichem Maße wie Masterabsolventen. Die Zustimmung wächst mit der Unternehmensgröße und dem Akademikeranteil, der sich auch in Kleinunternehmen positiv auf die Akzeptanz auswirkt. Bei den Einstiegspositionen zeigt sich eine Annäherung zwischen qualifizierten Weiterbildungsabschlüssen des berufsbildenden Systems und klassischen Hochschulabschlüssen. Je größer der Akademikeranteil, die Mitarbeiterzahl und die Erfahrung mit bereits beschäftigten Bachelorabsolventen, desto häufiger wird der berufliche Ersteinsatz auf einer Position für Hochschulabsolventen vorgesehen. Unabhängig von der Einstiegsposition haben Bachelorabsolventen bei zwei Drittel der Unternehmen die gleichen Karrierechancen wie traditionelle Hochschulabsolventen. Bei Unternehmen, die bereits Bachelorabsolventen beschäftigen, steigt dieser Anteil auf 73 Prozent. Dort, wo noch Zurückhaltung besteht, können Karrierechancen durch eine längere Zeit der Bewährung im Unternehmen verbessert werden.
