Mutáns vállalatok? A belső hibridekről
[Mutant firms? On internal hybrids]

Abstract

A tanulmány a tudásgazdaságban elszaporodó belső hibridek elméleti megértéséhez kíván hozzájárulni. A szerző abból a kérdésből indul ki, hogy vajon a decentralizált struktúrákat magukban foglaló, önszervező csoportokra épülő belső hibridek valóban új szervezeti formák-e - ahogy azt a szakirodalom állítja -, vagy csak egy létező forma, a vállalat mutánsai. A tisztánlátás megköveteli magának a szervezeti formának és a vállalatnak a világos és egyértelmű definiálását. Ezek alapján a szerző megállapítja, hogy a belső hibridek a vállalat mutánsai, hasonlóképpen ahogy a multidivizionális forma is mutánsnak tekinthető a centralizált hierarchiához képest. A szerző bevezeti a vállalatszerűség fogalmát, amelynek alapján a különböző vállalati formák megmagyarázhatóvá válnak. Az egyes vállalati formák (centralizált hierarchia, multidivizionális vállalat, belső hibrid) a koordinációs mechanizmusok arányaiban különböznek egymástól: a belső hibridekben nagyobb arányban vannak jelen a piacon és a külső hibridekben domináló koordinációs mechanizmusok. A vállalat sokféle variációban létezhet, amelyek különböző mértékben vállalatszerűek. A szerző hangsúlyozza, hogy a belső hibridek olyan szervezeti megoldást képviselnek, amelyek komparatív előnnyel rendelkeznek a tudásgazdaságban.
