Entwicklung von Wirtschaft und Arbeitsmarkt in Sachsen und Ostdeutschland 2005/2006

Abstract

Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird die aktuelle Konjunkturprognose des ifo Instituts für Sachsen und Ostdeutschland für die Jahre 2005 und 2006 vorgestellt. Zunächst wird das verwendete Prognoseverfahren kurz erläutert, wobei auch auf den aus der Umstellung der amtlichen Statistik resultierenden zukünftigen Reformbedarf der Methodik eingegangen wird. Anschließend wird die erwartete Entwicklung der sächsischen und der ostdeutschen Wirtschaft anhand wichtiger Teilaggregate skizziert und die hiermit voraussichtlich verbundene Beschäftigungsentwicklung dargestellt. Schließlich liefert der Beitrag eine kurze Bestandsaufnahme der Wirkungen von Hartz IV auf die Entwicklung der Arbeitslosenzahlen in Sachsen und Ostdeutschland.
