If Emotional Labor meets Micropolitics: Strategisches Surface Acting im Umgang mit emotionalen Anforderungen in subjektivierten Arbeitskontexten

Abstract

Im Zuge der zunehmenden Subjektivierung in der Arbeitswelt nehmen auch die Anforderungen an Beschaffenheit und Darstellung von Emotionen ständig zu. Aus der ‚Disziplin des Handelns‘ wird eine ‚Disziplin des Seins‘ – die Folgen für die Beschäftigten sind emotionale Dissonanz und Erschöpfung. Vor diesem Hintergrund verknüpfe ich die Konzepte Emotionsarbeit und Mikropolitik und schlage ‚strategisches Surface Acting‘ als Bewältigungsstrategie beim Spagat zwischen Gefühlsnormen und Selbstfürsorge vor.
